This 19” rack mounted unit is of rugged, modular construction and can be fitted to MilSpec transit cases for added protection. The unit uses an external PC linked by RS-232 as the MMI. This unit contains five data terminals under the command of a common controller module. The KU-9000 is designed to manage CYCOM data traffic on up to five networks, transferring data between them and encrypting/decrypting this data as it moves between networks. The unit is fully compatible with the CYCOM data terminal range, and is currently in service.
